In charge of architecture, design and development of low level tooling for supporting
different virtual disks formats, conversion tools, hypervisors and clouds (Amazon, Azure,
OpenStack, VMware, Eucalyptus, Flexiant, etc.), and operating systems (RedHat, Fedora,
Ubuntu, Debian, Oracle, OpenSUSE, Windows, ARM operating systems, etc.).
Designed and developed the core code of Open Appliance Studio, a distributed automation
framework used for multi-node installations and complex distributed testing.
Suite team. NHAS is a
cluster solution targeted to high availability telecommunication environments, that delivers a
HA service suite for building HA clusters and for complementing existing HA frameworks.
The NHAS covers services for booting via reliable DHCP, reliable NFS, reliable IP transport
layer, cluster membership management and real-time event dispatching.
Worked also in porting and supporting the NHAS solution on top of Wind River Linux,
including fixes in the kernel and port of our own modules from Solaris
Sun Cluster Development Team, developing extensions to the
product and optimizations to make it compliant with telecommunication standards (diskless
nodes, failover performance improvement, scalability studies, Service Availability APIs, etc.)
Member of Solaris Extensions Team, project Netra High
Availability Suite, developing extensions for the Solaris Operating Environment, targeted to
HA telecommunication environments. NHAS project provides a reliable and scalable
platform which can be easily and rapidly embedded by OEMs and system integrators into
their platforms and integrated with their applications to provide highly available solutions.
Member of ChorusOS Development Team. Development and
support of the microkernel and upper layers, with emphasis on network modules.
Member of Quality Assurance Team for the ChorusOS
Embedded Real-Time Operating System, in charge of testing, developing, and automatizing
tests to guarantee that the product fulfills the quality norms required.
Development and support of the PointOf-Sale project (terminals for supermarkets and service stations). Also participated in the
project VTOL (Online Transactions Validator) which consisted in solutions for the payment
cycle of electronic transactions via internet.
