After 10 years working in different Businesses and identifying the necessity of merging Data teams and Lean, I
decided to move forward. Now I work and an independent consultant and developed an project approach where Data
and Lean, together, meet the Business needs.
At the same time I followed my dream and got a CAP Pâtissier from the Best French School as a way to improve my
French and face a different challenge.
Responsible for the Lean and Business Improvement department at easyJet. Managing a budget of 1M GBP to
ensure the right projects where in place to reach the annual target of 5M GBP on cost reduction. Main projects:
- easyJet onboard service: unifying Data Science and Lean to ensure the onboard service where Just in Time
(what is needed, when it’s needed and only the amount needed)
- EU261: reducing the number of Legal Complaints due to flights delays (flight compensation claims cost
millions to the airlines every year). This project started as a processes improvement project and after the
“Understanding” phase this became a Strategic project with more than 50 involved.
- easyJet Holidays: driving strategical decisions in terms of processes allocation of the new Holidays business
(road map and strategy breakdown)
- Pre-order service: ensuring the efficiency of the processes of a new business service.
Worked as a Continuous Improvement Consultant focused on Coaching and Culture Change:
Providing internal Green Belt Training and Coaching 12 TUI Green Belts in certification process which should
achieve the total benefit of 250K by the end of the FY17.
Designed and implemented the first Continuous Improvement Wave, which is a 16 weeks transformation
program focused on people development and Lean implementation.
Executing Rapid Improvement Events as Invoice Payment Process that in a 3 days’ workshop saved 12K a
year only with the implementation of one quick win.
Developed the CI Maturity Matrix to measure the maturity and development of CI across the business.
Leading Implementation projects as:
Led Pre Order Inflight Retail project: understanding of current business processes and gathering data in order
to design the processes of this new inflight retail solution.
Defined and designed more than 86 processes across the business of which 53 where for the introduction of
new systems.
Led Lean Implementation projects as: Hotels Quality Management, D3PP (3rd party carrier service)
At Siemens Brazil my goal was to drive the continuous improvement rollout as a Lean Specialist and Coach.
Developed the Strategic Obeya (Lean Visual Management) for the Senior Management team, preparing
monthly strategic reports supported by dashboards, KPIs and Problem Solving methodology.
Coordinated the Lean Expert Programme at Siemens Brazil: Siemens Production System Expert
(manufacturing), Lean Business Expert (office) and Lean Development Engineering.
Coached +60 Lean Experts internally as part as of their Lean Projects. Each Lean Expert trained was
responsible for delivering an improvement project generating a minimum of £50K each of savings (achieved
or forecast).
Coordinated and Developed short Lean training modules.
I was running workshops, managing and supporting several consultancy projects for the leading Consultancy in Lean
Thinking methodology. Working with them for 6 years I became a specialist with extensive knowledge multiple sectors.
Was a Lean Specialist Consultant in Logistics, Manufacturing, Office, Healthcare, Food and Services.
One of the developers of training courses as Lean Logistics and Lean construction
Delivered training courses on more than 30 different subjects
Provided lectures in more than 12 universities and MBA Schools
Was part of the International Lean Practitioner Program development team (Netherlands)
Developed the Lean Practitioner Program Brazil (6 month training)
