I was part of a team responsible for Google's production network long term planning and
acquisition. I have been planning our long term strategy for most European countries,
focusing on central/south Europe, Ukraine and India.
This role is really cross functional, requiring building adoption of strategic plans, up to VP
level.
I got promoted 3 times during this period.
My strategy plans include technical designs for datacenter and network infrastructure,
site selection, TCO and BvL analysis, peering ecosystem analysis, market insights, market
supply, deal reviews, capacity planning
Hiring. Did 120+ interviews for diverse set of candidates from engineers to project
managers and managers.
Worked on process definition & documentation, coded myself in python/Appengine proof
of concept apps for asset inventory lifecycle management and leased assets capacity
planning.
Designed and implemented cheaper rack power delivery solution, using 3-phase power.
Initiated a 3 year program to power meter all our pops, with invoice validation and
power planning efficiencies cost benefits. Initiated global program to measure pop power
utilization efficiency and associated cost reductions.
PlugZoo is a new disruptive concept in the Electrical Vehicle charging space. 3rd party
investor for EV charging solutions. We take care of CAPEX/OPEX/install/operations in
lieu of partner companies that just need a charging service for their visitors or customers.

and incentives.
I was part of the team responsible for the deployment of Google's production network
rack/power/cabling infrastructure, long haul DWDM builds, Google datacenter network
build-outs and logistics.
