Preparing and performing of the factory acceptance tests for telecom systems with the customers.
Providing training for foreign engineers and technicians on telecom equipments.

Performing the commissioning of 40 digital protection devices DIP5000 AREVA.
Achievements:
Design of the interconnection plan of optical patch cords for the protection relays and the DIP5000 devices of six power substations.
Creating the reference document concerning interconnections of optical patch cords for each power substation.
Handover of the documents to the customer.
Interconnection of the protections relays and DIP5000 devices with the main optical junction box, in all substations.
Responsibilities:
Management of the commissioning teams: NMS-SDH PDH-PABX-PLC (up to 12 engineers and technicians).
Adaptation of the schedule of the commissioning activities, permanently, according progress of installation teams and SCADA team priorities.
Drawing up the planning of the commissioning activities, on weekly and monthly basis.
Updating of the documents related to the work progress and ensuring their regular transmission to the management team.
Achievements:
Shifting of all data circuits to the new network without any disturbance of control operations of the Libyan power grid.
Definition of a method to perform migration from STM1 to STM 4 on a part of the SDH network .
Drawing up of the activity plan for installation and commissioning of an Ethernet layer on the SDH network.
Drawing up of the plan of activities for the commissioning operations related to an extension of the main project. (Planning covering 5 months of activities)
Responsibilities:
Providing a technical support to a subcontractor for validation of 40 data channels (SCADA) over a mixed network SDH /PDH/ CPL, between the grid substations and the dispatching centre.
Achievements:
Verification of the dialogues between the control centre and the RTU equipments with a protocol analyser in order to identify faulty channels.
Trouble-shooting of the defective data channels.
Validation of all data channels over the mixed network (analogue /digital).
Responsibilities:
Commissioning of a SDH network linking the dam power plant of YELE with three power plants, the training centre and the regional control centre.
Commissioning of the Network Management System.
Achievements:
Commissioning of the whole network (SDH and PDH).
Installation, updating and commissioning of the Network Management system (IONOS server SAGEM).
Updating the level of software of equipments SDH SAGEM ADR155 .
Updating the routing of 2Mbits tributaries, following a modification of the SDH network topology .
Definition, proposal and performing of additional performance tests on the network requested by the customer..
Training on the whole system for operations engineers.

Reorganisation and optimization of the routing of 2Mbits tributaries over the SDH network, following a major modification of the optical fibre network topology by the customer.
Optimisation of the routing of circuits through the PDH network.
Supervision of the update of the technical documentation, and its transmission to the customer.
Responsibilities:
Providing assistance to a subcontractor for solving the technical issues affecting a VHF radio network of 80 sites.
Supervision of the installation of protective devices against overvoltage in 24 substations.
Achievements:
Meeting with the subcontractor to clarify the situation and get accurate informations regarding the substations.
Establishment of an action plan.
Submission of action plan to the customer in order to get his agrement .
Supervision of the subcontractor during the execution phase.
Technical checking of the SDH Network of the customer.

Responsibilities:
Checking quality of integration for RTU cubicles and SDH cubicles before expedition on sites
Performing functional tests on telecom cubicles equipped with ADM HUAWEI OSN 2500 and multiplexers AREVA DXC5000.
Responsibilities:
Providing of a technical assistance to local teams of AREVA T&D for the setting in service of CPL equipments on Overhead power lines.
