Tech lead of a team of 7 (onsite & offshore) for designing and implementing 2 insurance products. 2 months in Hyderabad for
KT and onboarding. Innove2020 is a transformational program for Natixis, owned by the BPCE group. The project involved
creating the journeys for different type of insurance products for both mobile and desktop and both public users and CS.
Tech lead of a team of 6 responsible for the design and implementation of a small application allowing ING branch users to
create request for account openings (personal and business). I was then the only responsible for support and enhancements. This
application was one of many “guests” of a Pega “Hotel” whose role was to handle the infra and maintain the shared layer.
Part of the team of 2 architects SSA/ LSA starting the project from scratch. This application is first and basis for a whole set of
new applications to be built on top of it. We helped mount and train the offshore team in multiple locations, were active actors in
DCO-like meetings and ended up guiding the ever-increasing offshore team as well as production support and POCs for future
enhancements.
Implemented different sets of Services from the front-end system and connectors to a legacy system using case management
approach on more complex processes. Mentored other resources on a purely technical aspect. Prepared the road map and
presented the approach towards migrating the system from Pega V6.3 to Pega 7.
Participated in the response to an invitation to tender from Murex. The goal was to implement a POC that highlight PRPC
V7 features as well as the quick changes capabilities. SFA & NBAM frameworks were involved in this POC.
CREDO is the setup of a single front office system managing Corporate Credit Proposals to be used by all business lines of BNP's CIB. It addresses three main objectives which are: Dematerialization of credit proposal folders, creation of a single global referential for BNP’s credit lines and automation of credit proposals lifecycle. CREDO is to be deployed globally for approximately 3000 BNP Paribas end users.
From the very first screen mock up and database table mappings to the last fixes implemented in the production environment, I was personally involved in all phases of the project lifecycle. In those 5 years I have been part of the functional team (wrote the initial version of 3 out of 14 SFDs), I have been a key actor in hiring and managing the off shore team and lastly I joined the support team which was responsible for the environment administration, ruleset versioning, validation of the technical documentation and the resolution of the production incidents. Throughout I have developed components including two estimated at more than 250 days each.
• Main role was Production support (2nd level)
• Participated in extensive evolutions provisioning for Simple & Efficient program within BNP Paribas.
• Coordinator between the onsite and offshore team.
• Re standardization of application rules due to historical high customization of the application.
• Analyzed and fixed live incidents.
• Systematically part of the team coordinating the go-live for any given version of the application.
• Two months for prototyping a totally different navigation system within the existing application
• Two weeks prototyping for switching from a intent driven approach towards a fully flexible case management approach where users know what they do
• Responsible of the three member team that migrated Pega PRPC from version 6.1 to version 6.3 in development, pre-production and production environment.
• Dev: Total refactoring of the core logic that handles multiple users working on a same workobject
• Provided the support team with a full list of possible enhancement within the application after gathering and analysis of production statistics.
• Unique technical referent for an internal BNP Paribas Audit and external BCG (Boston Consulting Group) audit.
• In charge of TCD validation code review for the development team.
Project: Aspire Birmingham, United Kingdom

Aspire is one of the public sector’s most complex and high profile transformational contract created for the Inland Revenue in 2004. Aspire was expanded to deliver more IT services and this is where I entered the project. This application helped collecting more than 435 billion £ in 2009. I worked as a senior system architect in the “Data population Management” module which takes care of the “Customers” of HMRC (Taxpayers). I also worked in the “Risk Management” application which goal is to forecast and analyze risks on customers so that an action can be performed.
• Participated in many training sessions to understand the process and technical architecture.
• Responsible for a multi environment analysis of rules discrepancy including live environment.
• Responsible for reviewing other developers solution documents for end of year release providing feedback and remarks and waiting until the solution documents and code review meets predefined standards before giving the approval. This proved to be highly effective in terms of quality of delivery.
• Analyzed and fixed live and staging incidents.
• In charge of the re-design phase of the overall BF component which included data recovery for more than 9000 work object in live.
Employer: Comet Global Consulting
This application is an internal application created within the company for keeping up to the fast growing pace of Comet. It was necessary to industrialize the way of handling the timesheets and expenses for 200+ employees and follow them along the object lifecycle (Employee, reviewer, managers, accounts, etc). The key tasks were the following:
• Participate in workshop sessions to understand the process and propose solutions
• Start designing the application from scratch (Application profile and accelerator)
• Identify and implement connectors to communicate with internal sources
• Identify and implement web services to retrieve and log currency exchange rates
• Set milestones to present the advancement to the main actors
• Build a set of predefined report to allow accounting to monitor and follow objects
Besides that internal project, I have been actively participating in the recruitment process by interviewing potential candidates on their technical skills as well as negotiating their requests.
As a member of the 6 person strong Production / UAT Support team, I was selected to participate in the UAT phase of the application to provide technical support. Was asked to be present and gather all available details regarding any potential anomaly before sending to the support team onsite in Paris for analysis. If the incident was a blocker, was responsible for unblocking the user and / or providing a break fix if needed.
• Created job description forms based on the roles needed for offshoring the development team in Mumbai. (Certified SA, SSA, team lead & project manager) plus participated on phone or face to face interviews regarding all development team hiring offshore.
• Spent 2 months onsite for kick off meeting, training, knowledge transfer and technical presentations of the CREDO application.
• Accountable for the communication between the onsite and offshore development team.
• Co worked with the team lead managing the offshore team until the PM was appointed. That included technical support, task and defect allocation and shared development.
• Responsible for code reviews for enhancement made by the offshore team. I was asked to validate the DCT, follow up the use case development progress and double check the rules / scripts versioning for such developments.
