Skills
1) Proven ability to deliver major IT projects/programs on targets: all the projects/programs I have managed have gone live on targets; and by always trying to exceed targets, I have sometimes managed to beat expectations, e.g. in 1999, the $7,5m program went live 3 months before schedule saving 1m$ to the business.
2) Ability to negotiate and manage fixed priced IT delivery contracts: e.g. fixed price deal negotiation in 2002 worth $4m with IBM consulting. More recently in 2004/05, negotiation of 3 deals worth 4m€ to 8m€.
3) Capacity to manage IT Development projects: e.g. Retail Management web-based System in 2002.
4) Ability to assist the program managers to recover the delivery of failing projects : have done it successfully twice, at ATT in 2001 when the chance of delivering the Euro compliancy on target, also in 2007 to recover the golive of the French pilot site at Stryker (after golive had been postponed twice)
5) Successful track record for managing large multi-disciplined & multi-sites teams of resource against project plans: e.g. have managed in 1999, 90 people including technicals, functionals and business resource, which were based in 7 different European locations.
6) Strong verbal and written communication skills: e.g. have gained the approval for a $7.5m program from the Board of MatraNortelCommunication; and currently seeking approval of project worth 30m$.
7) Strong business focus, e.g. the project I currently manage has 2 key focus, a) the implementation of an accounting shared service center regrouping 21 accounting locations, b) the definition of the top management reporting requirement necessary to run the business.
8) Capacity to translate ideas into feasibility studies and action plans: e.g. €163m business case prepared and sold to Executive Committee of France Telecom. 1 month after starting at Merrill Lynch, I have turned the EMEA Project into a global initiative.
9) Speak fluently both English and French.
