Cloud Program Director

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Program Director to lead and manage cloud migration projects across the various legal entities of this compagny. The Program Director will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical knowledge, and communication skills to drive seamless cloud adoption, enhance operational efficiency, and enable digital transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Migration Strategy & Leadership:

• Lead and drive the strategic vision for cloud migration across Sonepar's legal entities, aligning with business goals and ensuring a unified approach to cloud adoption.

• Develop, implement, and monitor the roadmap for cloud migration, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.

Program Management:

• Oversee the planning and execution of multiple cloud migration projects, ensuring high-level coordination and

integration between different legal entities.

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to

overcome potential challenges.

• Direct cross-functional teams in the execution of cloud migration projects, including internal IT teams, external vendors, and consultants.

• Monitor and track the performance of cloud migration initiatives, ensuring adherence to KPIs, milestones, and SLAs.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all cloud migration initiatives, providing regular updates and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Manage expectations and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring

transparency and proactive issue resolution.

Cloud Architecture & Integration:

• Collaborate with the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Lead, enterprise architects and cloud architects to ensure the cloud migration approach is aligned with the organization's cloud strategy and goals.

• Provide thought leadership and guidance on best practices for cloud migration, infrastructure management, and

optimization.

The experience you bring

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s

degree is a plus.

• Proven experience (10+ years) in IT project management or program management, with at least 5 years of experience specifically managing cloud migration projects.

• Strong background in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud migration strategies.

• Previous experience managing large-scale, cross-functional teams and complex projects across multiple business units or legal entities.

Skills & Competencies:

• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, and guide diverse teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives and managing

stakeholder relationships.

• Advanced project management skills, with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile,

Scrum, Waterfall).

• In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and deployment strategies.

• Experience in risk management, including risk identification, mitigation, and governance.

• Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy best practices related to cloud migration.

• Fluent in French and professional English. Any other major language is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud

Architect).
