Nous recherchons pour l'un de nos clients un FinOps Program Director ou Cloud en général sur Paris.
As the FinOps Program Director , you will be responsible for leading the adoption and implementation of the custumer FinOps Framework within the organization’s cloud teams. This pivotal role focuses on driving cloud cost optimization, financial accountability, and cost efficiency across customer's cloud environments. You will work directly with cloud engineering teams to ensure they adhere to the FinOps best practices, optimize their cloud spending, and deliver cost-efficient solutions that align with customer’s financial goals.
You will collaborate closely with the finance and cloud teams to establish transparent processes, improve cloud financial management, and continuously optimize customer’s cloud investments.
Responsabilities :
FinOps Framework Implementation: Lead the adoption and rollout of the Customer FinOps Framework within all cloud teams, ensuring consistent implementation and adherence to FinOps best practices. Foster a culture of financial accountability across cloud operations, ensuring teams actively manage and optimize their cloud spending.
Cloud Cost Optimization: Drive the identification and implementation of cloud cost-saving opportunities.
Work closely with cloud teams to evaluate cloud spend, optimize resource allocation, and minimize waste, ensuring cloud investments are made efficiently and strategically.
Financial Transparency & Reporting: Develop and implement cloud cost visibility and reporting mechanisms that align with the customer FinOps Framework.
Provideactionable insights into cloud consumption, trends, and optimization opportunities to support data-driven decision-making across the cloud teams.
Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Collaborate with cloud teams to support cloud budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Ensure accurate cloud cost forecasts are in place and assist teams in aligning their cloud spend with overall budgetary constraints. Regularly monitor actual vs. forecasted cloud spending and identify potential deviations early.
Cloud Governance & Compliance: Enforce the adoption of the cutomer FinOps Framework policies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance with internal financial governance standards.
Establish and oversee processes for the proper allocation, tracking, and approval of cloud costs within the teams.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various cloud engineering teams to ensure alignment on financial management goals. Provide guidance on cost management practices and help integrate FinOps processes with day-to-day cloud operations and development workflows.
Training & Enablement: Drive the education and training of cloud teams on FinOps principles and the customer FinOps Framework. Help teams understand cloud cost implications, provide tools and resources to promote financial best practices, and encourage a culture of cloud financial literacy.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve FinOps processes within the cloud teams, ensuring ongoing efficiency and cost optimization. Work with cloud teams to streamline workflows and integrate new tools that enhance cloud financial management.
Tool Integration & Support: Evaluate and implement cloud financial management tools that support the customer FinOps Framework.
Ensure tools are seamlessly integrated into cloud workflows and provide teams with the necessary capabilities to track, manage, and optimize cloud costs effectively.
Technical Skills:
Proven experience implementing and managing FinOps practices OR Cloud Migration, across cloud teams, with a deep understanding of cloud billing, budgeting, and cost allocation.
Familiarity with cloud financial management tools (ex: Azure Cost Management) and the ability to leverage these tools for optimization and reporting.
Strong grasp of cloud pricing models (e.g., pay-as-you-go, reserved instances, spot instances) and how they impact financial decisions.
