Technical Support Manager

• Provide first-line/second-line technical support to major clients in Middle East and Gulf region (Key financial institutions and Banks) covering: Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE 12.x, 15.x, 16.x), Sybase Replication Server (RS 12.6, 15.x), Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere (SQL Anywhere) and Sybase IQ
• Owning and handling incoming technical issues and inquiries from customers; maintaining - on a daily basis - a personal queue of ongoing customer issues until resolution

• Conducting Databases and Replication solutions trainings ( Fast track to Replication Server, Fast track to ASE, Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere, Performance and tuning Configuring Adaptive Server Enterprise)
• Onsite Professional Services/Consultancy (Lebanon – Gulf Region)
• Lead database teams performing - Sybase ASE administration, Sybase IQ administration, Sybase Replication server administration
• Acquired excellent technical, communication, customer, presentation, training, management and mentoring skills

Software Department: Technical Support

• Byblos bank: Development of e-banking and call center
Applications for Byblos Bank. (Java, Siebel essential CRM,
workshop upgrade Siebel essential 7.5 to 8.0). Support Steria
application 24/24. Upgrading the Oracle database from 9i to 10g
• Analysis of CIS internal application (Stock Management):
Database creation using SQL server 2000.
• Oracle Database 10g Trainer in Central Bank of Madagascar.
• Lebanese General Security – Lebanon: Oracle Project:
Development of an Application for DGSG using Oracle
products (Oracle 10g IDS, Oracle 10g IAS, Oracle Forms Builder
and Oracle 10g RAC). Migration of old data from Informix to
Oracle 10g DB – Replication of data for one master site and
more than 10 replicated sites – Oracle database tuning for
optimum performance – Installing ORACLE 10g database,
Enterprise Manager, Forms Builder and Reports on Windows
and Linux platforms.
• Sonatrach: Oracle applications upgrade 6i to 10g (forms and
reports). Workshop dataguard installation and configuration.
