Project manager - Server OS migration

Primary Mission and Responsibility
o Be responsible for leading project teams through the migration process including discovery,
analysis migration planning and execution
o Access the applications and Services hosted the Servers with unsupported OS Versions, defining
their Migration Strategy together with the responsible Application- and Ops-Teams and structure
the project into waves
o Be responsible for the scheduling, organization, execution and follow up of the different phases
of the projects: kick off, deployment, smooth transition to internal customers, formal closure of
the project
o Facilitate the analysis of the migration impact with the application owners and the Ops Teams
o Produce the wave migration plan
o Manage the migration events
o Track and manage all financial aspects of the project
o Define planning and resources needed for the projects
o Provide monthly project status
o Update the CMDB and the Service Catalog
o Setup and be responsible for the Project Governance
o Identify, assess and manage risks and changes and implement appropriate actions
o Monitor project performance measurement indicators and communicate it to the project
steering committee
