This is the result of a test run by Nokia (by ******** ) before I got hired in 2000:
Work style and Efficiency
He is clearly a very active and curious person who wants to learn all the time more and explore things. He is not afraid of trying out unfamiliar things and he can work rather independently if he has clear understanding concerning his work's targets and rough framework. He is usually very energetic and his work pace is fast but his approach is also systematic and accurate in a normal way. So he can be at his best quite clearly more productive than people in general. He stands work load and other kinds of pressure at least in a normal way.
Information handling and problem-solving
His general information processing capacity is very probably clearly higher then the midrange of the Finnish master degree population. On the basis of that he should be able to learn quickly new things and reach high-level expertise in his field. Likewise, he is probably capable of utilizing his know-how well while solving work-related problems. His thinking is both analytical, logical and rather productive, too.
He can express is thoughts without problems in writing and speech and he manages well enough with his English language skills.
Interaction and co-operation
His social style is very outgoing, spontaneous and open. He is a people who take the lead in a team by his nature. He takes actively initiative and expresses his ideas boldly. So he can be very influential in a team but when he gets enthusiastic about his ideas he is so expressive that he very probably has difficulties in listening to others carefully enough. He is though ready to listen to others if they are active enough to capture his focus.
Summary and Conclusion
His strengths concerning this position and situation under consideration are connected with his strongly curious and actively learning attitude as well as his ability to be at his best very efficient at his work.
He is also socially easy-going and capable of joining different teams without any problems and getting quickly acquainted with others. He is fast learner and he can utilize well his know-how while working.
No remarkable or even very much worth noticing issues of uncertainty came up during the assessment day.
To conclude, he is very probably a potential person to work in this position under consideration.
Fulfill a professional development path where high technical skills are grown together with coordinating skills and responsibility growth. Despite my different roles, my high technical understating has leaded me to always play a major practical role in any project I’ve been involved in, as an active player or coordinating other resources.
